Hey everyone!
After putting out a few articles consecutively back-to-back, it was suggested that I slow my ass down and let everyone catch up. 😂
If you’ve just subscribed in the past week—and my readership has doubled in that time, thank you!—then there is plenty to catch up on if you have the time.
There are the posts here, on Less Mad. Then there is my OG blog, Concerned Netizen. On that site, I’ve assembled a list of all—nearly all?—of my online video appearances, as well as all the content I’ve put out over the better part of the past decade.
I’ve spoken with The Virtual Community author Howard Rheingold, Cyberia, Media Virus, and Team Human author Douglas Rushkoff, Fredrick Knudson of the Down the Rabbit Hole YouTube channel, Alex Bard and Andrew Sweeny of Parallax, and many more. Before all that, I was a reoccurring guest on a famous Manhattan-based television program called Conversations with Harold Channer. I’ve given presentations both online and in person as well, on topics from media ecology to shamanism (!) (I kept it down to Earth I promise).
I won’t list everything here, just enough to get you to check it the list!
If you scroll to the end of that page, you’ll also find a list of all the articles I’ve written for Katherine Dee aka Default Friend over on her internet culture Substack Default Blog.
I’ve poked my nose into lots of crazy scenes these past few years and often ended up way over my head. When reality is far stranger than fiction, getting out of one’s comfort-zone is crucial to growth.
The fact that this is all a matter of public record has probably been the most interesting and, often, the most difficult part. My journey has always been a public one. That was intentional from the very beginning—it’s just the medium today.
There will be more fresh content coming down the pipe soon—and I am always interested in feedback, so if there is something in particular you’d like me to write more about, let me know! Thank you for reading!
“Hello World!” 👋
